Uniform is a requirement of Harewood School.

Wide brim or bucket style royal blue sunhats are compulsory in terms 1 and 4 for all children.

Girls

Summer:

• Dress - blue and white check gingham with white collar and cuffs or culottes with royal blue polo shirt;
• royal blue school sweatshirt or royal or navy cardigan;

Winter:

• McKenzie tartan tunic; and/or skirt, and/or culottes.
• white or royal blue skivvy or royal blue Harewood School polo shirt;
• royal blue school sweatshirt or royal or navy cardigan;
• royal blue track pants;
• royal blue polar fleece.

Boys

Summer:

• grey shorts;
• royal blue school polo shirt;
• royal blue school sweatshirt;

Winter

• royal blue track pants or grey shirts;
• white or royal blue skivvy or royal blue Harewood School polo shirt;
• royal blue school sweatshirt
• royal blue school polar fleece

Senior students (year 3-6) wear navy knit shorts for sports. These are available from Postie Plus at Bishopdale.

As all children take part in daily physical activity comfortable and appropriate footwear is required. For safety and health reasons, long hair should be tied up.

Jewellery - watches and stud earrings are acceptable to wear at school. For health and safety of all children we strongly recommend that bangles, rings, or necklaces not be worn at school as they can be a danger during P.E., sport and in the playground.

Second-hand uniforms - a limited supply of second-hand uniforms may be available from the office. The PTA organise a regular second-hand uniform sale. The dates and times are advertised in the school newsletter.
